The Parco dei Principi is immersed in the 27 thousand square meter park, overlooking the sea, in one of the most popular locations for tourists from all over the world: Sorrento, Italy. The hotel is located a few kilometres from the centre and the small port of Marina Piccola, at the centre of an unmissable tourist-cultural itinerary. The land where the Parco de Principi hotel is located belonged to the Jesuit Order until the 18th century when the King of Naples, Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, acquired the property and donated a part of it to his cousin Paolo Leopoldo di Borbone, Count of Syracuse. In 1792 the Count built the villa Poggio Siracusa whose sumptuous rooms hosted ladies and barons eager to have fun in that joyful Eden. The tragic death of the Count's beloved began a period of decline that lasted until 1885 when the Cortchacow family bought the area. The villa returned to its former glory, becoming the scene of stories, passions and famous receptions. The new owners started the evocative construction of a gothic-English style dacha to be used for a future visit by the illustrious cousin: the Tsar of Russia Nicholas II. The hotel stands right on the remains of the never completed dacha. The Neapolitan engineer Roberto Fernandes bought the land in 1959 and commissioned the architect Gio Ponti to transform the place into a hotel. The historical legacy, the extraordinary location and the natural colours inspired Ponti in creating a structure rooted in the ground characterized by the verticalism of the ancient dacha and the Sorrento coast. A path between tunnels in the rock leads from the hotel to the private beach. The two cliffs equipped with solarium offer the thrill of being in the sun, but in close contact with the crystalline water. Inside the park, surrounded by its rare botanical specimens, there is the seawater swimming pool designed by Gio Ponti. Small islands of stillness emerge from the pool and the diving board seems to be almost suspended over the water. Gio Ponti restaurant, designed to give an infinite perspective on the sea, gives an immediate telescope effect, which amplifies the view of the sea thanks to the large spaces and the absence of walls. In the hotel's main restaurant, you can start each new day with a delicious breakfast or end with a dinner. For lunch on the beach, At the Poggio Siracusa restaurant, on the pier of the private beach. During the summer months, the pier of the beach houses the Poggio Siracusa restaurant, marina restaurant. Thanks to its location, it is perfect for savouring seafood specialties, accompanied by the sound of the waves. The three-hectare botanical park preserves rare plant species and ancient loves: among the many romantic corners, the bridge bearing a plaque with verses of Princess Desirée of Sweden and the Temple of Venus, which stands in the place where the cultivated aphrodisiac plant grew at the time when the land belonged to the Jesuit friars. Blue Bar Relax in the blue. Sip a drink while admiring the surfaces covered in ceramic pebbles to which Gio Ponti entrusted "lightness ... grace and reflections of light and sky" and the extraordinary relief ceramics created by the sculptor Fausto Melotti. The gym is fully equipped at the complete disposal of all hotel guests 24 hours a day. To recover the harmony of body and spirit, they offer, on request, massages and beauty treatments.

The Royal Continental Hotel is on the Naples seafront, Italy. It will be easy to get lost between the sea and the symbols of the city: in front of the hotel, the legendary Castel dell'Ovo and Borgo Marinari, a few minutes walk, Piazza del Plebiscito and, a little further on, the Maschio Angioino. The hotel is located in the centre of the large pedestrianized area of the seafront, but is well-connected to the rest of the city. In 1949 the engineer Roberto Fernandes bought the Grand Hotel Royal des Étrangers. The nineteenth century building, considered one of the symbols of the Naples waterfront, hosted illustrious personalities such as Oscar Wilde until, at the end of the Second World War, German troops set it on fire. In 1955, where the historic hotel once stood, the Royal Hotel was inaugurated, designed by Ferdinando Chiaromonte and by the engineer Fernandes himself. Gio Ponti subsequently intervened in the design of the furnishings, in the design of the swimming pool and in the creation of the logo. The task of designing and furnishing the interiors of the hotel was entrusted to the Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti. The principle that he applied to the structure was: every piece of furniture, while always being functional, must interest the imagination of whoever designs it and who looks at it. This is how materials such as frisé maple, striped mahogany and briar became chest of drawers with three drawers, dressing tables with circular mirror, folding tops to be used as desks. Today, it is possible to stay in one of the 24 museum rooms of the Gio Ponti Floor, for a stay dedicated to designer design. Radiated by the sunlight reflecting on the seawater, the breakfast room shines with a thousand colours and invites you to start the day with an Illy coffee and continue it with a smile. Savoury proposals, sfogliatelle, croissants and cakes prepared every day in the hotel's pastry shop. The lobby bar, open from morning until late evening, also for guests outside the hotel. A place to feel at ease, not only with a steaming espresso in the morning, but throughout the day, always remaining immersed in the great expanse of blue sea in front of the hotel. The hotel boasts a rooftop pool, on the 10th floor of the hotel, is a design solution conceived by the architect Gio Ponti for the Neapolitan hotel. By placing the swimming pool "on the roof" Ponti intended to create an ideal dialogue between the landscape (Castel dell'Ovo to the south and the Pizzofalcone hill to the north) and architecture. The walls surrounding the pool on three sides seem to want to isolate the roof space from the outside, leaving the vision of the Sorrento peninsula as the only perspective, as well as of course the perspective on the sky, on infinity. In the background, a unique view of the Pizzofalcone hill and the neo-Gothic example of the Villa Ebe by Lamont Young. The project was published in 1954 on the cover of Domus issue 291 with the title "A rooftop pool". A mirror of water in a patio, due to its irregular shape, more than any swimming pool with a rigidly geometric shape. The Royal Shopping Gallery is a permanent space where the best Campania brands showcase their art, making the hotel an active part of city life. The clothes and accessories of the Temporary Store Duerre Collection, the handcrafted jewels with a refined design by Ileana della Corte, the original antique and contemporary prints, the engravings, the gouaches and the handcrafted products of Macrì Segni Creativi and the high-end costume jewellery collections by La Tiend.

Our impressive neoclassical building was designed by prominent Milanese architect Cesare Tenca. Back in 1896, the hotel was called ‘Hotel du Nord’ and decorated in Italian Art Nouveau style, known in Italy as ‘Liberty’ style. The location of the Hotel Principe di Savoia was carefully chosen for its proximity to the railway station and city centre of Milan, Italy. Centrally located right beside the new business centre of Porta Nuova, close to the fashion district, a five-minute walk from the station and ten minutes away from the historical centre. The hotel was originally designed to appeal to business people, but by the 1930s its grandeur and reputation for exquisite service had made it popular with royalty, celebrities and world-renowned artists performing at La Scala. In response to the hotel’s increasing popularity, two new wings were built in the 1950s, with two additional floors added later in 1958. The hotel’s name was subtly changed in the 1980s to its present name, Hotel Principe di Savoia. Those who know us well though often affectionately refer to us as simply, ‘The Principe’. We continued to build on our success with three further floors in the 1990s, including our tenth floor in 1996, where our grand Presidential Suite and spa are located. In recent years the city’s new Porta Nuova district has grown up just behind the hotel and can now be seen from the spa. Hotel Principe di Savoia proudly joined the Dorchester Collection family of hotels in June 2003, to become our first Italian hotel in the collection. After a major restoration project, we’ve just relaunched all of our meeting and event spaces. Take a look and you’ll find utterly beautiful rooms and versatile spaces in which to host meetings or enjoy special celebrations. From our rooftop terrace you can enjoy vast panoramic views taking in both old and new Milan. The gleaming Porta Nuova district sparkles right in front of us with the Unicredit Tower by Cesar Pelli, while in the distance you can spot the Generali Tower by Zaha Hadid and Allianz Tower by Arata Isozaki. Our public areas are easily accessible on the ground floor. The hotel offers four rooms that are specially equipped for the comfort of disabled guests. These rooms are located near the lift on the second, third, fourth and fifth floors (one on each floor). We’re proud to be a family-friendly hotel in Milan. Children under three dine for free, and they can even order from a special menu filled with dishes they’ll love. Up in the penthouse we also offer private swimming lessons and armbands for their first splashes in the pool. Perfect for families, we invite you to master the art of Italian cuisine with a private pasta lesson with executive chef Fabrizio Cadei. After learning some tips and tricks in the kitchen, you’ll enjoy your homemade pasta dish at Acanto Restaurant. Meet maitre sommelier Mara Vicelli for a fascinating journey through wine. Over 60 minutes Mara will guide you through a selection of wines and champagne in one of our suites, before you enjoy a bespoke tasting menu at Acanto Restaurant. For a truly one-of-a-kind experience, let us arrange a private viewing of one of the world’s most famous frescoes: ‘The Last Supper’. Offering exclusive access to the Santa Maria delle Grazie – even when closed to the public – our experienced guide will reveal the fascinating history of Da Vinci’s masterpiece. Over the years we’ve played a starring role as film set for a number of international movies, such as Somewhere and Alaska. Let us show you some of the areas you may have spotted in the films, before heading up to the beautiful Presidential Suite for a glass of wine. Milan is ideally located just a short journey from the beautiful lakes. For this exclusive experience in partnership with Bellini Nautica, we’ll take you out in a vintage Riva yacht on Lake Iseo, stopping for a traditional Italian lunch at a lakeside restaurant in Monte Isola. Your day ends with a tour of a private collection of Riva boats.

Until the 1990s, Genoa’s old harbor, Porto Antico, in Italy, was disconnected from the rest of the city despite being the place from which Christopher Columbus set off on his explorations. It is in 1992 when the NH Collection Genova Marina was built by the architect Renzo Piano as part of his plans to regenerate the Piazza Caricamento and historic port buildings, designing fascinating new structures, including the Aquarium, the Bigo (panoramic lift) and the hotel itself. Their authentic, modern rooms are subtle and stylish, with light wood paneling. Most have balconies and harbor views, and you can see the dolphins playing in the Aquarium from some of the family-sized Suites. Settle down for a sound night’s sleep with their luxuriously comfortable mattresses and choice of pillows, and drift off to the sound of gently clinking masts from the boats moored nearby. Their stunning antique port location makes the hotel an exquisite venue for social gatherings, from classy cocktail parties to sophisticated gala dinners to romantic wedding receptions. The hotel has seven meeting rooms, the largest of which can hold 180 people. Bathed in natural light and with the latest audiovisual equipment, the rooms host gala dinners as effortlessly as they hold business conferences. Their catering team will be happy to help you choose the perfect menu for your event. At the restaurant Il Gozzo, all guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the harbour on the waterside terraces. Their delicious breakfast buffet gets your day off to a great start.
